Shaping our Future Together 2026 – Fill in form

Launceston Medical Centre continues to invest in services, staff and facilities to meet the changing needs of our growing patient population.

In recent years we have expanded and modernised our premises, creating additional clinical space, an enlarged dispensary, improved parking and environmentally sustainable features including solar panels and electric vehicle charging points.

We have developed a multidisciplinary team that includes GPs, paramedics, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, clinical psychologists and social prescribers, allowing patients to access the most appropriate professional for their needs.

Our innovative “Lanson Model” integrates physical health, mental health and wellbeing services, helping patients access support earlier and closer to home. This work is being strengthened through the development of community-based services and our Health Inequalities Hub.

We remain focused on improving access to care through digital services, telephone improvements and new ways of delivering appointments, whilst maintaining safe and effective urgent care provision.

Alongside this, we continue to invest in staff development, education, research and training, ensuring that Launceston Medical Centre remains a forward-thinking practice committed to delivering high-quality patient care for the future.
