Reception
Doors open at 8.25am so you can log your arrival for 8.30am appointments.
Please note: To avoid queuing, use our Self-Arrival machines in the waiting room. Our reception team will guide you through if necessary.
Doors close at 6.30pm. If you have an urgent medical issue when the Practice is closed, contact NHS 111 by phone or for advice, go to https://111.nhs.uk (out of hours service). Call 999 for any life threatening condition. Our online triage service closes at 2pm. After this time, if your need is medically urgent, you can contact 111 by phone or online using this link: https://111.nhs.uk , or phone the medical centre and speak to one of our patient advisors. If your issue can wait, is non-urgent or routine, please complete the online form another day from 8.15am. Alternatively you can ask advice from a pharmacist.
Online Triage Form
Our platform is open on our website www.launcestonmedicalcentre.co.uk from 8.15am – 2.00pm for all medical and administrative enquiries.
Please note: this time frame may alter depending on demand and staffing levels. When it is closed and your need is urgent, please ring Reception.

Phonelines
If you need to ring us, phonelines are open between 8.30am -5.30pm. Between 8.00am – 8.30am and 5.30pm and 6.30pm, we operate an urgent only system. If you ring at this time, you may be asked to call back during core hours, depending on your request.
Please note: our busiest times are from 8.30am-10.30am and between 12 noon -2.00pm. You are likely to queue to get through – remember to use our Online Triage Form to avoid long waiting times.
Out Of Hours
This service takes over your care from 6.30pm until 8.00am. If you ring the Practice at this time, you will be automatically transferred.

Doors close at 6.00pm
Phonelines are open between 9am and 12 noon and 2.00pm and 5.30pm.
